Your Voice Is An Instrument

Imagine attending a performance where a musician only played two notes on their instrument:  how long would it take you to fall asleep?

It’s the same when speaking to an audience:  you can’t drone on—stay in a narrow vocal range—or your audience’s attention will quickly flit elsewhere (or they’ll fall asleep).  Use the full range of your voice—as you would if you were engaged in an exciting conversation with a close friend.

The audience IS your friend!
